Anthony Tilmon " Tony" Williams borne, 12 December 1945, he is a drummer jazz of have nationality to United States. Tony born in Chicago and grow big in Boston. He have career in film world of since year 1963.
When growing in Chicago, Tony start to learn the drum by Alan Dawson, in age which young very and start the its professional career in age 13 year with saxophonist Sam Rivers. Saxophonist Jackie Mclean rent the service Tony of age 16 year
Year 1969, he form the Trio, " The Tony Williams Lifetime", by John Mclaughlin at guitar, and Larry Young at organ. Jack Bruce at bass join as additional later then. That trio represent the Band pioneer in fusion, combination from rock, R&B, and jazz. their First album, Emergency!, very refused by community jazz at that moment. In this time Emergency! Looked into by many people as classical fusion
After departure Mclaughlin, and some album again, Lifetime disbanded. In year 1975, Williams re-arrange a band is so-called " The New Tony Williams Lifetime," with bassist Tony Newton, pianist Alan Pasqua, and guitarist of English of Allan Holdsworth, recorded 2 album for the Columbia Of Records, Believe It and Million of Dollar Legs .
